What to expect from an erotic photoshoot

The shoot begins before I pick up the camera
People come to me with very different ideas. Some know exactly what they want. Others have seen a particular photograph or have a feeling in mind without knowing quite how to describe it. Either is fine.
Our first conversation is about understanding the photographs you would like to make. We can discuss how far you want to go, what you would prefer to keep private and the kind of setting that might work. You do not have to share intimate details in your first message.
Getting the setting right
I do not have my own studio. Depending on the project, we can consider your home, an apartment, a villa, a hotel room or a studio hired for the occasion. The room needs to work for the lighting and the photographs, as well as give everyone the privacy they need. Any third-party costs are agreed before you confirm the booking.
You do not need to know how to pose
That is part of my job. I will direct the lighting, framing, posture and details that make a difference. I may ask you to move a hand, turn slightly or try another position, and I will explain why. If a suggestion does not feel right, we find another way to make the photograph.
There is no requirement to look a certain way, be experienced or feel completely at ease from the first minute.
Choosing the level of intimacy
A session may be sensual, artistically nude, erotic, based around a fantasy or explicitly adult. The style is decided with you, not for you. Where more than one adult is involved, every participant must understand and agree the planned images and their boundaries. Consent to one idea is not permission for something different.
Film, couples, groups and additional models
I can discuss a film alongside your still photographs, as well as sessions involving couples or groups of adults. Some concepts might be developed further with an additional professional photographic model, if such a collaboration becomes available. These projects require their own planning, agreements and quotation. My service is photographic or audiovisual production, not a sexual service.
What happens after the session?
Before you book, we will define the number of edited photographs, the agreed look of the editing, the selection process and the delivery arrangements. Your photographs are personal. Any use on my website, portfolio or promotional materials would require a separate, specific agreement.
The person behind the camera
I have also taken part in personal photography projects as a model, including male nude and couples work. It has given me another perspective on what it means to be photographed, without making assumptions about how anybody else feels.
